Bewong River Retreat is a private estate nestled within temperate forest on 160 acres of Australian Bushland on the Bewong River on the NSW South Coast. We are around 2.5 hours from both Sydney and Canberra and 10 min from Jervis Bays sandy beaches.

Weddings at Bewong River Retreat give couples the opportunity to exclusively book accommodation and the venue for their wedding celebration. Our packages include 3 days / 2 nights in our totally private venue. We also host midweek weddings, conferences and special events.

Had my wedding at Bewong in Feb and it was awesome!
Lee is great at what she does, everything went to plan and she took care of all the coordinating on the day so we could focus on our guests and a good time.
The cabins were lovely, we had everything we needed. The reception space is great for 100 people and you can DIY to your liking.

Such a great place to stay. Amazing quiet setting with short walks and river access. Cabins with kitchen and jacuzzi. The porch and bbq were well used.
An easy drive to Jarvis for day activities. Lisa at reception and Bill were excellent hosts (super knowledgeable about the bush).
Kangaroos, wallabies and birds galore. Thinking about maybe a party or wedding here!

We had the best wedding weekend here! All the guests commented on how great the venue was and how it felt so luxurious and spacious. Lee was an absolute dream to work with and everything went exactly as planned all thanks to her! The cabins are just beautiful and everyone who was staying was really upset to be leaving on the Sunday. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

We got married at Bewong and it was the perfect location. The ceremony and reception were absolute perfect, being able to stay onsite the night before and having a late checkout on Sunday meant we were able to relax and celebrate that little bit longer with friends and family. Lee the wedding coordinator is amazing at what she does. She made us both feel so calm and relaxed on the day.

Bewong river retreat was the perfect area for our wedding to take place. The venue was amazing and created such a dreamy wedding vibe. We decided to get married within the trees right in front of the reception area, it was all that we could’ve dreamt off. All the cabins are slightly different, but they all include a spa bath, big bed, Bathroom with a double head shower, Lounge and TV, Kitchen and a big deck with a hammock to enjoy the incredible scenery.
Our wedding coordinator Lee deserves a crown… I genuinely feel that our wedding would not have come together the way it did without her.

We owe everyone at Bewong river retreat a massive thank you, we will 100% be coming back.
